Terms of Service

Effective date: May 1, 2026

1. Purpose

These Terms govern your use of the mobile application Gourmeto (the “Service”) provided by Ysware (“we”, “us”).

2. Definitions

  • “Service” — a mobile app that recognises and translates restaurant menus via OCR.
  • “User” — anyone who uses the Service under these Terms.
  • “Member” — a User who completes Google Sign-In.
  • “Pro” — paid subscription or one-time purchase features.

3. Posting and amendment

We post these Terms in [Settings] within the app and on this page. We may amend the Terms to the extent permitted by law and will announce material changes at least 7 days (or 30 days for changes adverse to Users) before they take effect.

If you do not accept the amended Terms, you may terminate your account at any time.

4. Membership and account

  • Membership begins when you accept these Terms and complete Google Sign-In.
  • You may not transfer or share your credentials with third parties.
  • We may refuse or revoke registration for impersonation, false information, or violation of these Terms.

5. Service description

  • OCR recognition and text extraction from menu images
  • Multilingual translation and currency conversion of recognised items
  • Saving and sharing of order history
  • Other features that we may introduce

OCR and translation accuracy depends on input image quality, language, and design. We do not guarantee complete accuracy.

6. Paid features

  • Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Auto-renewal and cancellation of subscriptions follow each store's policies.
  • Refunds follow the applicable store's refund policy and Korean e-commerce law; refunds may be limited once digital content has been used.

7. User obligations

  • Comply with applicable law, these Terms, and our notices.
  • Do not upload images that infringe third-party rights (copyright, likeness, etc.).
  • Do not place excessive load on our servers or interfere with normal operation.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the Service.

8. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Service and our content are owned by us. You retain rights to images you upload, and you grant us a limited licence to use them solely to operate and improve the Service.

9. Modification and suspension

We may modify or suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, technical, or operational reasons, with prior or subsequent notice.

10. Disclaimer

  • We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of OCR or translation results, and we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on them (e.g. order errors, price differences).
  • We are not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure or communication failures.
  • We have no obligation to mediate disputes between Users or between a User and a third party.

11. Termination

You may terminate the agreement at any time via [Settings] > [Account] > [Delete account]. We may restrict or terminate your account after notice if you breach these Terms.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be brought before the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
